Two things I love: projects & coffee.
Hi, y'all, I've been MIA! Being a wife, mom and business owner is busy! I've neglected this space and miss it! Josh and I are so excited to announce the opening of Frio Coffee a small coffee bar near the beautiful Frio River inside of Josh's Frio River Outfitters Leakey location. We have been in the coffee shop business for almost 20 years now because of our Concan store and it has been a dream of ours to make this coffee shop addition a reality in the original Josh's location! While quaint and not as impressive as the Concan location ( it is such a structurally unique shop) , our Leakey store is my personal favorite of the two and just feels like home to me. Maybe it is because of the great memories from child hood I have of the Frio and visiting Josh's in Leakey with my dad. Maybe it is because I've seen it through the eyes of a "tourist" and now have the pleasure of serving them myself.

She is my sister and her gorgeous floral arrangements were the perfect, special touch to our tiny coffee shop! I love them (and her) so much! Quality, longevity and beauty in a pretty vase!
This offseason, Josh gave me his blessing, with limited space to work with, a couple of power tools and the encouragement of friends. In no time at all, what I envisioned in my mind, became a beautiful reality. I'm so excited for the future of our little shop and proud of the little space I am able to share with you all. I still have so much work left to do and so many plans and ideas to bring to life. I'll never stop creating projects for myself (or Josh) to work on.
I'm so thankful for all of the love and support we have received from our lovely community in our first full month being open. It truly means so much to me. If you are reading this and haven't been in yet, I hope you'll stop by soon to say "hello" and sip a "cup of joe" with me.

Heavenly Father, thank you so much for my family and business. I ask that You bless every individual who walks through our doors. Let them know that they are appreciated and loved by You. I pray they enjoy their time here whether visiting the area or calling it home. May they enjoy themselves and find a moment of peace.
